Valentine Vignettes 7: Blanket Statement

Eliza is obsessed with blankets, especially hiding under them. We'll be playing downstairs and she'll suddenly say, "Bid? Bid?" So we'll run upstairs to the bed and she'll say "Bangket!" which means blanket.

Sometimes she says "Mama bangket!" which means Mama needs to hide under the blanket with her. Other times she'll jump under the blanket by herself and say "Way-AH you?" which means "Where are you?" then jump out and yell "A'BOO!" which means "Peek-a-boo!" And of course jumping on the bed is fun too.
Eliza loves "rides." She calls them 'ide. She loves to climb on one of our backs while we run around the house, bumping up and down and spinning in circles. Oddly, she's often very quiet during rides, not giggling or screaming but with a big smile on her face.
