Fall has been so beautiful here in Charlottesville. This was my first autumn here and these are some pictures I took just from our back balcony.
I had to work on Thanksgiving and the two days after, so Steve and I decided to celebrate our little family Thanksgiving on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It was a fun day.
It was such a gorgeous and warm day that Steve wore shorts! It was perfect weather-- crazy for the end of November! We loved it!
Here's a hungry Eliza and Steve.
Here's our spread of goodies. Steve made a lot of it! Eliza and I were spoiled with the classics: Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, Sw. Potato casserole, rolls, carrots, homemade cranberry sauce, etc. Yum Yum!
And here's my strawberry pie with homemade whipped cream! It was a great day!
And here's me after 3 days of work in a row... so tired!
Recovery from a yucky cold and her first ear infection!! :(which is the biggest reason I haven't blogged in a while...
Chewing on markers-- why do babies love markers so much??She's currently teething her fourth tooth, can you tell?? She chews on anything within reach.
And giggling and chewing on daddy!

Wow, what a fun post! We had missed seeing how Eliza was growing. You three managed to have a nice Thanksgiving on your own. Your Thanksgiving feast looked yummy. I love the picture of Eliza in the carrier when Steve was cooking Thanksgiving--what a happy girl! Thanks for letting us hear Eliza's happy laugh, too.
So, our all these markers supposed to motivate her towards being an artist just like with a soccer ball? What's next? A small violin? The orange marker looks like a carrot. Eliza looks cute. Like she's growing vertically. I wish we could see her. Thanks for blogging. Love, Abby
I like the air guitar. She knows how to pose.
Congrats on the teeth Eliza. Noelle topped out at 2 teeth. Hopefully if I show her these pics everyday, she will follow suite. And I love Eliza's green polka dot jammies. Fun. We miss you guys and wish the little lasses could play together.
